About Natalia

Designs by Natalia creator, Natalia Heath has always had an artistic streak. Inspired by her grandmother, a painter, Natalia went on to complete a major in Fine Arts at Sydney University before moving on to work in retail and corporate sector design.

But a career change beckoned, which saw Natalia work in sales and promotion before becoming the proud Mum of three beautiful children with her husband Mal.

With three new creative minds to entertain, craft workshops soon became an institution in the Heath household. But when Natalia routinely found herself working on a new masterpiece at the kitchen table long after her children had moved on to the next activity, she decided to take her design potential to the next level.

Experimenting with resin, a medium she’d always been fascinated with, Natalia began making hair clips and fridge magnets in snatches of free time between packing school lunches and ferrying her kids to soccer matches.

Before long, Natalia had graduated from making magnets to fashioning women’s jewellery, adding materials such as lace, buttons, sea shells and sequins to resin to create her bespoke range of wearable art for women of all ages, each individual piece a labour of love designed and meticulously handcrafted by Natalia herself.

The Designs by Natalia range also includes beautiful resin home wares including bowls, plates, Christmas decorations and even bonbonniere for weddings all designed by Natalia.

Natalia has also used her creative mind to find a way to commemorate the joy of pregnancy in an artistic, functional and fun way with the creation of custom made “Belly Bowls”.
